Built to Lead
Built to Lead is the anthem for my coaching program for Christian men.
“Built to Lead” is a powerful Christian anthem about taking ownership of your life, leading your family with purpose, and becoming the man God has called you to be. Blending faith, personal transformation, discipline, and accountability, the song challenges men to stop drifting through life and start leading with clarity and direction.
True success isn’t measured by money, status, or achievement, but by the character you build, the family you lead, and the legacy you leave behind. You weren’t made to live without purpose. You were built to lead.
Own It
Leadership starts with owning who you are as a person. This includes everything that has led to where you are and where you are going in life.
That’s why session one is on “Ownership.”
My Father Calls Me Son
Our identity is in Christ. Too often, we believe our identity is in what we’ve accomplished or who the world calls us. This is a reminder of who your Father in Heaven says you are.
In session two, we focus on “Identity.” Who does God say you are?
I Was Built for This
This song is about having a vision and persevering through it. In session three, we focus on “Vision.”
Freedom Is What I Want
Most Americans are in the never-ending battle of living paycheck to paycheck. Whether it’s from trying to keep up with the Joneses, wanting more than they can afford, or simply not being smart with their finances. As a result, the banks and credit card companies make hundreds of billions of dollars every year from interest payments alone.
The Bible says, “The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.” – Proverbs 22:7
That is why sessions 4, 5, and 6 of my Built to Lead coaching program focus on finances. In session four, we focus on “Awareness.” What gets measured gets managed. Session five centers around “Order” in our finances. God works through order. And session six focuses on “Freedom,” understanding that the borrower is a slave to the lender.
If I Want to Lead
If you want to lead others, you must start with leading yourself and developing your influence. And that’s what we work on in sessions seven and eight of Built to Lead.
Session seven is on Influence, and session eight is on Leadership at Home.
More Than a Paycheck
As the husband and father of your family, you are more than the money you bring. This song is a reminder that your family needs more than the material possessions you can provide. They need you! This is where your legacy starts.
In session eleven, we tackle “Legacy.”
Teach Me to be Faithful
Too often, we compare ourselves to others and feel the need to always be on the go, go, go. As God reminds us in Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”
This song was written as a prayer asking God to teach us to be faithful to Him and His Word in a world that practically demands envy and comparison.
Turn It Up
This is not only a great “pump-me-up” song, but it’s also a call to Christian men everywhere to stand up. God calls men to lead. Lead in our homes, in our churches, and in society for His Kingdom.
There is a battle being waged on Earth between good and evil. As believers, we’re soldiers for Christ. This is a call to wake up warriors everywhere, to stand firm, to lead your family, and to fight the good fight of faith.
Man in the Mirror After 50
This song is about who we are becoming. The mirror might show a few more gray hairs and a few more wrinkles. But the wisdom you have to share is part of that journey.

Love Songs
I Choose You
I believe that love is a choice – not a feeling. And that’s what this song is about. The Bible says, “God is love” (1 John 4:8) and “we love because God first loved us” (1 John 4:19). “I Choose You” reminds us that love is a choice. God demonstrated His love for us by choosing to send His only Son to be the eternal lamb sacrificed for our sins. And His Son, Jesus Christ, chose to go to the cross as that sacrificial lamb (Luke 22:42). He took the sins of the world upon Him. In doing so, He made the way for us to get back to God. Therefore, love is a choice – not a feeling.
Stay with Me
My wife became ill in July 2025. We’ve gone through several ups and downs since then. At times, she’s said she wants it all to end – so she can “go home” to be with the Lord. This song is a plea for her to never give up.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Christmas. So, I created some Christmas songs too.
The Light Starts Here
Jesus Christ is the light of the world. So, it’s only fitting that this song (and the next) have “Light” in the title.
