TANDEM Ministry bracelets (or just TANDEM bracelets) are unique in design that are pleasing to the eye. There are no others like it.

Many men and women wear jewelry because of their mere aesthetic appeal. A TANDEM bracelet is not only aesthetically appealing, but it also has a profound meaning within it.

They Coordinate Well With Your Attire

Many men and women like wearing jewelry that accentuate what we’re wearing. For instance, I’m a watch guy. At one point, I had 36 watches. They were comprised of various colors, styles, and types.

I have various colors, tones, and types of watches. Square, rectangle, oval, and circle faces. Metal, leather, fabric, and lizard skin (both real and imitation) bands. And in various colors.

Because we can make the TANDEM bracelets in various colors, I like to coordinate the color I’m wearing with my outfit.

As an example, I prefer to wear a blue TANDEM bracelet when I’m wearing a blue shirt. If it’s a game day, I prefer to wear a red bracelet (Nebraska Cornhusker fan).

I also like to wear bracelets that are black, green (Army), and tan camouflage. It really depends on my mood and what I’m wearing.

They’re Great Conversation Starters

Regardless of the color, I’m wearing, periodically someone will ask me about the bracelet. Though this sort of thing probably happens more often for my wife, it still happens.

Some of us want to talk to others about our faith. However, we don’t always know how to start. If that’s true for you, then a TANDEM bracelet could be a great resource for you.

When someone asks me about my bracelet or comments on it, it’s a great opportunity to talk to them about Jesus.

And the best part is that they brought it up. I didn’t have to come up with a way to talk to them about Jesus.

They’re Available in Various Colors

I’ve mentioned that I have bracelets that are in various colors (red, blue, black, green, and tan camouflage). However, those aren’t the only colors that we have (or make).

We also have pink, yellow, and orange. And there are many others that we can get if enough requests for that color come in.

For instance, periodically we’ll go to a store and see some paracord that’s of a different color(s). If we like it, we’ll buy some of it. At the same time, we have various vendors that we’re able to get different colors. We just might not purchase a certain color if we never get any requests for it (like brown).

And we don’t want to limit it to just one color. We can actually make bracelets that are of two different colors (no more than two). Last week, as an example, a request came in for a bracelet that was both yellow and blue. I remember making one that was both black and red (which happen to be my high school colors).

Don’t Forget the Why

Matching your outfit is not the focus of a TANDEM bracelet.

Although it’s aesthetically pleasing to coordinate a bracelet, or other jewelry, with what you’re wearing, a TANDEM bracelet is far more than just something that looks good with your outfit.

Whether it’s with work, parenting, marriage, or anything else, on a daily basis I’m faced with various challenges. Therefore, it’s very refreshing to remember that I don’t have to face or solve all of life’s problems by myself.

The TANDEM bracelet is a tangible reminder that no matter what I go through, I won’t have to go through it alone.

Too often, I want to be the master of my own domain. I want to have the answers to every question and know how to address every problem. The truth is, if left to myself, I’ll fail more times than I’ll succeed.

By wearing a TANDEM bracelet, I’m reminded that I’m not alone. And even if I think I have an answer, I know that I have direct access to the one who has all of the answers (Proverbs 3:5-6).

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
